One family of independent sites for the journey from 1L to licensed attorney: a state-by-state bar-exam guide (UBE vs. non-UBE, with California, Texas, New York, and Florida in depth), the MBE's 7 subjects decoded, tutorials on essay method and performance tests, 12- and 16-week study plans coached by Eli, interview prep for law-school admissions and OCI, and an accreditation hub for law schools — plus the working exam app. Everything is grounded in public, official sources. Nothing here is affiliated with any official body, and nothing here is legal advice.
This site is unofficial: it is not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by the NCBE, the ABA, any state bar, or any law school. The authoritative sources are always the official sites — the NCBE for the national exams, the ABA Section of Legal Education for accreditation, and your jurisdiction's bar admissions agency for your exam. Eli is a study copilot, not a lawyer.
The universe
Pick the topic you need. Every site links back here, and Eli answers on all of them from the same knowledge — state-aware, so California essays get California treatment and UBE states get UBE treatment.
The working platform: original MBE-style practice questions across all 7 subjects, timed practice, study modes, MPRE practice, an item-writing academy, and interview prep. Eli tutors inside the app.
Open the app → Start herePick your state on the map: which exam you take, how it's built, and what to verify with your bar admissions agency. California, Texas, New York, and Florida in depth.
Pick your state → Guides200 questions, 175 scored, 25 per subject across 7 subjects — what each subject really tests, pacing, and where the points concentrate. Straight from the NCBE structure.
Read the guide → TutorialsHow to study for the bar, the MEE essay method, the MPT walkthrough, and MPRE ethics — methods, not magic.
Browse tutorials → GuidesPhase-based plans with weekly checkpoints and Eli check-ins — honest about what works: active recall, mixed review, and timed writing.
See the plans → GuidesLaw-school admissions and OCI/job interviews: question banks, structured-answer coaching, and Eli's mock interviews.
Prep here → For schoolsThe ABA Standards in plain language, a documentation toolkit for self-studies and evidence, and an interactive readiness checklist. Materials support documentation — Eli never declares a school compliant.
Enter the hub → One-pagersPrintable one-pagers: MBE subject checklists, the essay approach sheet, an MPT template, and an MPRE ethics quick-reference. Print-ready, original, cited.

Accounts are activating soon. Student and faculty sign-ups are not open yet — until then, the exam app's guest practice runs with no account at all. Your progress stays on your device, and nothing is ever sold.
How it works
Bar admission runs on documents: the NCBE's exam descriptions, the ABA Standards, state bar admissions rules. They are authoritative and, frankly, hard to read — scattered across sites, dense PDFs, and jargon. SI Law School puts the working parts of those documents into plain language in one place, grounded in what the official sources actually say. Long-form pages carry inline citations to those sources, and where we synthesize, we say so explicitly: “Our read:” marks our interpretation. Nothing here replaces your bar admissions agency, the official exam sites, or a licensed attorney.
Every exam fact cited carries a source. No leaked questions, no confidential anything — only what's published and citable. All practice questions are 100% original.
These sites give you the information to think clearly about law school and the bar exam. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for a licensed attorney. See the disclaimer.
Official publications are summarized and paraphrased, never reproduced at length. The original document is always one click away, with links checked regularly.
